A too-bright-to-wear lipstick became some experimental patterns and mark making exercises last night when I compiled the finger painting pages into the two repeating patterns below. 'Platelets' is the looser of the two, a scattered repeat with more white space meant to mimic the look of red blood cells and platelets under a microscope. 'Embers' incorporates more overlapping shapes to look like the embers of a crackling fire. Both designs are available for purchase through Society6, Spoonflower and Print All Over Me.
